Existing Book Collection Display

As a regular monthly feature library will be displaying works of Rabindranath Tagore to mark his birth anniversary on 7th May.
Rabindranath Tagore was a great Indian writer from Bengal who reshaped his region's literature and music. His novels, stories, songs, dance-dramas, and essays spoke to topics political and personal. Gitanjali (Song Offerings), Gora (Fair-Faced), and Ghare-Baire  are his best-known works. He became the first non-European to

His compositions were chosen by two nations as national anthems: India's Jana Gana Mana and Bangladesh's Amar Shonar Bangla.
Also, the library will be celebrating the National Technology Day by displaying books on technology. On May 11, 1998, India successfully test fired the Shakti-I nuclear missile at the Indian Army's Pokhran Test Range in Rajasthan.
On this Day, the country's first indigenous aircraft, the Hansa-3, was flown in Bengaluru while the nuclear tests were being conducted in Rajasthan.
May 11, 1998 was also the day on which the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) completed the final test-fire of the Trishul missile.
