Sarvepalli
Radhakrishnan was a versatile genius- a great philosopher, a great writer, a great
orator, a great statesman and a
great administrator. He became the first Vice President of India. He wrote on
comparative religion and philosophy. He is the receiver of honors like British
Knight Bachelor & the commonwealth Order of Merit. His birthday which is on
5th September is celebrated as Teachers Day in our country.
